Um, today I accidentally downvoted a video, videosift normally warns you you are about to downvote

arse. So - I want to know - is this a change to gold star, a change in general, or a videosift "special feature" (or f**k up as it's sometimes known)
It does say "Be careful downvotig as you cannot change your mind" but at least if you accidentally upvote its not as bad as down voting...
Personally I want this back, or at least a profile option "Ask before Downvote" for example. Actually that would be cool

I think "Are Your Sure?" should apply to down votes always
maybe a check box if dont want to be asked all time...but that caught me out
but srsly, if you vote up no bad, but if you accidentally vote down, real pain in the ass - any chance we can get it into the profile as a user option (are you sure on downvote)
I think it's just a matter of paying attention to what you're doing online and click on the right spot (instead of rampage clicking tendencies one may have from time to time)
Warning messages generally clog up the system. Imagine living a life where everything is tagged with "are you sure?"..

I hear you, but I rarely downvote, and (personally) would like the "are you sure" on the down just like on comments.
Thats just me, I appreciate not everyone will like it so that is why i think prehaps a profile option would be good
ant complained that he averaged 2 hours a day clicking that "are you sure" dialog box so he requested it be removed
